Dear Laurent,

Now that you have photographed the weddings of three of our children, Sue and I want you to know how much we love your work.

1. You always get the shots. Our weddings were all confused melees, but amidst the confusion you have repeatedly organized the wandering relatives, bridesmaids etc. into their proper groups. We have never wished for a shot that you did not get.

2. You also serve as a de facto wedding coordinator by having a time schedule for specific shots. Without your calm hand one of our weddings would have been a timing catastrophe.

3. The quality of your finished product is simply unbelievable. The high quality of the books you choose and the quality of your prints is breathtaking. It's corny, but I still can't look at my daughter's book without tearing up.

4. Your work exhibits a blend of artistic and technical genius. You are a master of seeing the quantity and quality of light and composing an unforgettable shot. Such a gift cannot be taught. As you may know, the Claremont Hotel still has one of your photographs of my daughter in their lobby proving that I am not the only person with such an opinion.
